Please read these terms carefully before placing an enquiry or order.

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Thelwall Bakehouse website and the placement of cake orders. By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Thelwall Bakehouse is operated by Geraldine Foden, a sole trader based at 66 Thelwall New Road, Thelwall, Warrington, WA4 2HY. Email: thelwallbakehouse@gmail.com.
All orders begin with an enquiry submitted via the contact form on this website, by telephone, or by email. Thelwall Bakehouse does not operate an online shop and does not accept orders through any automated checkout process.
Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed order. An order is only confirmed once Thelwall Bakehouse has acknowledged acceptance in writing (by email) or verbally by telephone, and a deposit has been received.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than approximately one week before the event for standard orders, and four weeks before for wedding orders.
Accepted payment methods are bank transfer or cash. Full payment details will be provided at the time of confirmation.
If you need to cancel your order, please notify Thelwall Bakehouse as soon as possible. If an order is cancelled within two weeks of the order date, the deposit is non-refundable. However, a new date may be booked.
In the unlikely event that Thelwall Bakehouse is unable to fulfil a confirmed order due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as soon as possible and any deposit paid will be refunded in full. No further liability is accepted.
Requests to amend a confirmed order - including changes to design, flavour, or size - should be made as early as possible and no later than two weeks before the delivery/event date. Changes are subject to availability and may affect the quoted price.
All products are made in a home kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs. Cross-contamination cannot be fully excluded.
It is your responsibility to declare all allergies and dietary requirements at the time of enquiry. Thelwall Bakehouse cannot accept liability for allergic reactions arising from requirements that were not disclosed.
Cakes are available for collection from Thelwall, Warrington or for delivery and setup at agreed venues. Delivery charges are confirmed at the time of quoting.
Once a cake has been collected by the customer, or has been delivered and handed over at the venue, Thelwall Bakehouse accepts no responsibility for damage caused by subsequent mishandling or unsuitable storage or transport conditions.
Thelwall Bakehouse's liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. No liability is accepted for any consequential, indirect, or special loss, including but not limited to disappointment, distress, or costs incurred as a result of a failure to supply.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
This website is provided for information purposes only. While every effort is made to keep it accurate and up to date, Thelwall Bakehouse makes no warranty as to its completeness, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or from an order placed with Thelwall Bakehouse shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
