Common questions

  • How much does a christening cake cost?

    Prices depend on the size, tier count, and design complexity. A 6" single-tier cake starts from £65-£70, with more detailed designs priced accordingly. Get in touch with your date and requirements and I'll come back to you with a personalised quote.

  • How far in advance should I order?

    Please order at least 6-8 weeks in advance where possible, and earlier during busy periods like spring and summer when christenings are most popular. Last-minute enquiries are always welcome though, so it's worth asking even if the date is soon.

  • What size cake do I need?

    It depends on your guest numbers and whether the cake is your main dessert or one of several. As a guide, a 6" single-tier cake feeds approximately 20 people, while a 2-tier feeds approximately 50. Get in touch and I'll help you work out the right size for your celebration.

  • Can I choose the flavour?

    Yes - each tier can be a different flavour, so there's plenty of scope to cater for different tastes. Popular choices for christening cakes include vanilla, lemon, and almond, but I offer a wide range. Visit the flavours page to see the full menu.

  • Do you cater for dietary requirements?

    Yes - I can accommodate gluten-free and dairy-free requirements. Please mention this when you get in touch so I can factor it in from the start.

  • Can I collect the cake?

    Collection from my home in Thelwall, Warrington is the standard option. Delivery may be available for weddings and larger events across Warrington and the Northwest - just ask when you enquire.

  • Do you make christening cakes alongside matching cupcakes or biscuits?

    Yes - this is a popular option for christening celebrations. I can create matching cupcakes or iced biscuits to complement your main cake, which are great for guests to take home as favours. Just mention it when you enquire.
